Dog Man #5: Lord of the Fleas

What's The Story?

In Dog Man: Lord of the Fleas, the Supa Buddies are back—and they’ve got their paws full with a whole new set of villains! This time, Dog Man teams up with his trusty pals, a cute kitten and a super-smart robot, to face off against troublemakers tearing up the town. But in a surprising twist, Petey the Cat, the world’s most notorious villain, must join forces with them. Can Petey turn over a new leaf and embrace the power of good, or will old habits have him pouncing back to his evil ways? Bursting with humor, heart, and action, this fifth book in Dav Pilkey’s Dog Man series shows readers that even the fiercest foes can find redemption.

About the Author

When Dav Pilkey was a kid, he was diagnosed with ADHD and dyslexia. Dav was so disruptive in class that his teachers made him sit out in the hallway every day. Luckily, Dav loved to draw and make up stories. He spent his time in the hallway creating his own original comic books -- the very first adventures of Dog Man and Captain Underpants. In the second grade, Dav's teacher ripped up his comics and told him he couldn't spend the rest of his life making silly books. Fortunately, Dav was not a very good listener.
